Heiden’s Humble Beginnings
Back in 1925, Al Heiden and Stan Wyderka started Heiden Plumbing & Heating, opening for business on 15th and Wright in Milwaukee. Nearly 50 years later in 1972, Stan’s son Ken purchased the business, turning it into the Heiden Plumbing Company.
Going Strong Three Generations Later
Now, Ken and his family continue to care for families and businesses throughout Metro Milwaukee. Heiden operates with the same pride in craftsmanship, dedication to customer satisfaction, and integrity that shaped the company nearly 100 years ago. A big reason why our quality standards are so high is because of our incredible team. We employ more than 15 state-licensed and fully insured employees who have more than 100 combined years of experience in plumbing, heating, and cooling.
Our plumbers are also part of Local Union 75. That means they go through rigorous education to become the best of the best. It also means they are certified experts in the field who know the trade inside and out. Heiden—Proven to Have Honest Ethical Standards and Practices
In 2001, WITI Fox Channel 6 and reporter Katrina Cravy performed a sting operation on the Milwaukee plumbing industry. The goal was to investigate various local companies to see if they took advantage of their customers.
Heiden Plumbing was one of three companies brought in to repair a toilet—completely unaware of the operation. The other two companies chosen wanted to charge $250 – $600 for the simple fix. Us? We repaired it for $85.
