Trenchless Piping Repairs and Replacements
Part of our sewer and water services include repairing and replacing sewer lines—which means we have to gain access to the pipes. That’s where our trenchless abilities come in.
Trenchless Pipe Bursting
“Trenchless” pipe bursting means we don’t have to dig up your yard for the entire length of the pipe. It simply means we need to expose it.
We start by digging enough to create an access point into the pipes. This helps us gain valuable knowledge about the makeup of your land. Certain types of soil aren’t conducive to the pipe bursting process, so knowing if they’re present helps us work more efficiently. It’s also important because this process involves jostling, displacing, and re-arranging the piping in the soil. If we don’t know what your land looks like ahead of time, your home’s foundation could be altered.
This process can save your yard, your money, and your time.
Trenchless Epoxy Sewer Lining
While pipe bursting is a great option if your land is properly assessed, epoxy sewer lining is one of the most efficient methods of sewer line repair. Heiden Plumbing is also one of very few contractors in Wisconsin who offer it.
It starts with cast in place piping (CIPP). Using liners soaked in a high-density polyethylene, the piping is fed through your broken sewer to add a new layer. This new lining is corrosion resistant and has a lifespan of more than 60 years.
And there are more benefits than just those. The methods used with epoxy linings significantly reduces—and sometimes eliminates—the amount of digging needed to repair your sewer. It’s a cost-effective and time-saving process that repairs broken sewer lines.
